Early runs, clutch `pen lift Tigers to win over Jays

JaCoby Jones` two-run triple paced a four-run second inning in support of Blaine Hardy, whose six quality innings carried the Tigers to their seventh win in nine games with a victory over the Blue Jays. The second inning also included an RBI groundout from Leonys Martin and an RBI single from Jeimer Candelario as Toronto starter Jaime Garcia exited, completing only 1 2/3 innings. The Blue Jays put up a pair in the sixth on Teoscar Hernandez`s RBI triple and Kendrys Morales` sac fly, but Detroit`s Nicholas Castellanos (3-for-4) responded with an insurance homer in the seventh. Buck Farmer, Johnny Barbato, Artie Lewicki and Shane Greene combined for three scoreless frames from the Tigers` bullpen.
